Our Story
Ohio Country Puppies was founded by single mom Kristine Miller. Kristine took her love of dogs and passion for photography and created a site for people to come to and find the perfect puppy for them and their families. What makes Ohio Country Puppies different from other advertisement websites? We make it personal. This is not a site that anyone can advertise their litters of puppies on, we choose our breeders carefully and our established breeders become our family.
What does that all mean? At Ohio Country Puppies you are guaranteed a puppy that is not from a puppy mill! Every one of our puppies is given the upmost care from families who love them and enjoy caring for them until they are ready for their new homes. Our team strives to recreate how you purchase a new puppy. Let us help you find the right puppy for you and your family. We will help you along the entire journey to get your new pup.
We will help prepare for your new family member by giving you as much information as possible, sending you updates, setting up a pick-up time or even shipping your new puppy with one of our pet transport companies. Ohio Country Puppies makes your puppy buying experience stress-less and easy.
Each of our puppies will come with a 30 day health guarantee and a 1 year genetic guarantee. All documentation for your puppy will be provided for you when you pick up your new friend or once they are delivered to you. Documentations include registration papers (if applicable), shot records, health records from the breeders veterinarian, a buyer contract and the health/genetic guarantees.
Our Policy
Please read our policy before placing a deposit on a puppy. There is a lot of information you will need to know before buying a puppy.
Payments:
1.) All deposits to hold a puppy are non-refundable unless the deposit is made before the puppy has been vet checked, if the vet finds any problems with your puppy you will be notified immediately and offered a refund for your deposit. A deposit can be switched to another puppy within the litter as long as there is one available.
2.) Final payments (if being made electronically) are due at least one day before the puppy is picked up or shipped. No Exceptions!
3.) If you are picking up your puppy cash will be accepted by the breeder. Please ask about electronic payments before picking up your puppy. In most cases electronic payments will be accepted during pick up, but do ask beforehand.
4.) If you are having your puppy shipped to you all shipping costs need to be paid directly to the transport company. We will not take any payments for shipping.
Liabilities:
1.) Ohio Country Puppies and its employees are not responsible for; any additional costs associated with shipping of a puppy. Nor are they responsible for anything besides the sale of the puppy.
2.) Ohio Country Puppies is not a breeder, but an advertisement company for select breeders. Each of our breeders are either licensed or have a very small kennel that has been through an approval process.
3.) Ohio Country Puppies and its employees are not responsible for any breeders actions. If a breeder violates our code of conduct or doesn’t hold up our expectations/morals they will be immediately removed from our list of breeders and will no longer be able to advertise with Ohio Country Puppies.
